I had a bought a Robby's wrist support 13 years ago for carpal tunnel. I worked amazing. I used it at night when I slept and after a couple of nights my carpal tunnel "flare up" was gone. Each time it flared up I used it again and sometimes using it every night for an extended period of time. If the carpal tunnel was bothering me early in the day, I would wear it throughout the day. Although, wearing it through the day can be cumbersome as it is hard to use your hand with it on.The reason that Robby's wrist support is so much better than the rest (and I have tried others) is that there is a steel plate that lays on top of the wrist and underneath it. It is a lot less bulky than the rest and is made of a soft "leather" material. So, now 13 years later I have bought my 2nd Robby's wrist support, only because there was about one ince of stiching out of my 13 yr old one and instead of fixing it myself I would have rather treated myself to a new one.
