I used a microfiber towel when wiping mine down after spraying the ball with the product and no residue was left behind. It also takes very little of this product to get the job done. A little of this stuff goes a LONG way - so don't feel bad about buying such a small bottle. Cleans up surface gunk and even gets rid of the OIL pretty well.
